And me with burning, watering eyes from pollen allergies. The stuff is bad this year. My eyes reject the glare of the computer screen after a few minutes.
So I'm on a program of "environmental formula" eye drops (Moisturizing only. Not the redness removal kind. Very unhealthy, those!) and drifting away under the headphones with my eyes closed for substantial stretches of time. I'm ready for the pollen to Go Away.

My sympathies!
Have you tried an anti-glare filter for your monitor? They're cheap and readily available.
... or maybe Larry's enjoying having you away from the monitor and won't let us have you back. Diane threatens that occasionally, and I'm not entirely sure that she's joking.
WAY cool, you can still get glare screens! I feel like i shoulda' known that, but i now have one on order!
Since Larry and i share an office (Well, a room divided by shelves), and he spends a fair amount of time online himself, he's glad to have me at my own desk - this way, cats will occasionally take a break from trying to stretch out on his desk, or (as Graymatter does) hover like a living gargoyle on his seat back, to come bestow the same honors upon me!
