Christy - you may have noticed i had the date wrong in the post, all day! Now fixed.
It was storming so hard at bedtime that i figured there was no point in setting an alarm to see it. Woke up at 3AM and there was that bright moon in a clear sky, so i stayed up!

Very nice, Ruth! And I say that with all the weight of expertise that a Junior College astronomy teacher can bring to the issue.
Oh, dang, I missed it... I got my days mixed up. These are the times I truly wonder if I get so mixed up at 37, how bad will I be at 87?!
